In [redacted], I opened an account with TD Ameritrade and invested in ilgy stocks, which later changed its name to ilgl and then vmsi. Since [redacted], I haven't accessed my account. When I called, they said it might have been deleted due to its age. I've sent over 15 unanswered messages through the center. I have my account number and all necessary documents. How can I regain access to my account and ensure my rights? I'm really troubled by this issue.

I used to have an account with your company. Previously, when I called to inquire about my inability to make transactions, I was kept on hold for an extended period. The representative mentioned unusual activity on my account and said he was investigating. Concerned about not being able to access my account, I waited on hold once more. When he returned, we got disconnected. Subsequent calls placed me in a queue for over two hours. Turning to messages, today, I received my monthly statement only to find that instead of seeing my balance of $3,[redacted].15, it now shows an income write-off credit associated with my account number. As a 65-year-old facing health challenges, I am bewildered. Please assist me in understanding the status of my funds and why I am unable to use them.

I recently opened an account with TD Ameritrade and transferred around $21,[redacted] from my previous investment account. However, they promptly froze my account. Despite submitting the required documentation and trying to contact them, it has been nearly a month without any response. Due to my hearing impairment, I use their TTY line, but it's only available until 2:00 my time and I never got through. I tried the [redacted] TTY line, and a customer service representative seemed annoyed, directing me to the fraud department. When I asked for their contact details, he ended the call. I simply want to close my account and retrieve my funds as trading is my source of income. It's frustrating that my money is inaccessible. The check is legitimate and issued by a reputable bank, so there should be no reason for the account freeze. I find the lack of communication unacceptable.

Hello all, I'm an investor seeking clarification. I came across conflicting information on social media regarding the short interest for the stock symbol $AMC. Yesterday, it was reported at 40%, but Fintel claimed the screenshots were manipulated, stating the actual short interest is 18%. I am writing to seek assistance regarding an issue with my Ameritrade account. Unfortunately, my son has accessed my husband's Ameritrade information, including account number #[redacted]57, and I am unsure of the broker but vaguely recall Joe Papez at Centaurus Financial. This occurred after my husband's passing. My son has taken control of the assets and intercepts all statements. Despite the account being in my and my husband's names (Sanford and Emily Tannenbaum), my son has manipulated paperwork to receive all documentation. He also now redirects all mail to himself. It has been over three months since my account was frozen or closed without a valid reason. I received a fraud alert on my credit card, which led to the bank flagging my account as a fraud when I didn't respond quickly enough to approve a transaction. After calling the bank to resolve the issue, it was confirmed that the situation was not related to my account with you. I am encountering a frustrating issue with my IRS tax refund. I deposited the check into my TD Ameritrade account and then requested a wire transfer of a portion of the funds. However, the next day, I found my account was frozen and I couldn't log in. When I contacted customer service, I was accused of account owner fraud and told I needed to wait for a letter in 60 days to resolve the matter. It has been 30 days with no updates or communication. I have visited two branches, provided all my tax return documents, and even proven my identity, but it seems like no progress has been made. The money in my account is crucial, and this situation is jeopardizing my living situation. The lack of communication and treatment from the compliance department is extremely disappointing, and I feel like I am not being heard. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied with the company, especially considering they are not accredited by the Better Business Bureau after so many years in operation. The lack of interaction with clients from the compliance department is unacceptable and frustrating beyond belief.
