I am inquiring about the compatibility of my Sony Trinitron Color Television, model number KV.M14TU, with receiving digital transmissions from Freeview, BBC, and ITV. I am currently using a Polaroid digital box, model number POSTB2, which fits the relevant connections for both the TV and the digital box. Despite attempting to tune in the television transmissions multiple times, I have been unsuccessful. The indicator lights on both devices come on, including the loading screen. I believe the TV was likely produced or distributed around [redacted] based on its features. The back covering panel protrudes outward by 33mm by 25mm. I suspect that the broadcasting transmitter no longer transmits terrestrial signals for TVs from the 1970s. Can you confirm if this is the case? If so, I may consider selling it at an auction or donating it to a technology museum. I may need to purchase a new or refurbished TV. I am looking forward to your email reply.

I experienced a malfunction with my Sony headset WF-1000X M3: Approximately 4 months ago, I reached out to Sony regarding the issue. Despite lacking an invoice since it was a gift, the customer service team made an exception and agreed to cover it under warranty upon investigation. After conducting troubleshooting tests and a factory reset, the problem persisted. Sony then instructed me to send the headset to the repair company in my country, Sertronics, for repairs under warranty. Surprisingly, Sertronics now claims the product isn't covered by warranty and requires me to bear the repair costs. Sony appears to deny instructing me to send it for repairs, although they had sent me an email with the repair company's address after reassuring warranty coverage. I do not possess written proof of the warranty assurance provided by customer service, as the interaction was through a recorded phone call by Sony, which I cannot access. As a loyal customer with a range of Sony products, I have always appreciated the quality and reliability until this disappointing experience with customer service.

I recently bought a Sony 32-inch color TV model KDL32W600D, and it's been experiencing serious issues. I've checked with the cable company, and they've confirmed that the problem lies with the TV itself. The TV repeatedly stops working, displaying a signal error message prompting to press the input button. We've tried switching between HDMI1/Arc and HDMI2 to restart it before, but this time it won't respond to any troubleshooting attempts. As the TV is essential for my disabled family member, we urgently need a resolution. If you can't fix the problem, we'll have to request a replacement or consider returning it and purchasing a Samsung TV instead. Thanks, Maria

Sony recently permanently suspended my account with error code (ws-[redacted]-7). The frustrating part is I did not engage in any activities that warranted a ban. I avoided groups due to spam, yet I still got banned. This is especially unfair because in the past, I understood why I was suspended and had to wait before being reinstated, only to be suspended again after 3 days. This continuous cycle is unjust considering I am a loyal customer who frequently spends money on Sony products. I had even preordered a PS5 but had to cancel due to this suspension. I am now considering switching to Microsoft as I am unable to access my account to unlink my PSN from other game accounts. It is disappointing that Sony prioritizes suspensions over customer service assistance.

Hello, I recently contacted Micromania-Zing, and I'm looking for a solution. I appreciate them taking more reservations than available PS5 consoles. It's disappointing to reserve one and then be told it may not arrive until next year. As a leading gaming store, this feels unacceptable. My son might not have a Christmas gift. I've been a loyal customer for years, and this situation is shameful. I wish I had known earlier; I would've ordered elsewhere. I'm reaching out today to express my dissatisfaction with their strategy. Thank you for nothing, my son's gift is now in jeopardy. How do I proceed from here?

Hello there, I recently realized that I forgot the password and security question for my old Sony account that I need for the Playstation Network. I am trying to activate existing accounts for games like Playstation COD5 and Battlefield4, but I am unable to do so as the email address is registered with Sony. Hello, my girlfriend recently logged out of my PlayStation account, and I'm having trouble resetting the password. The special security passwords set up by my mom when I was younger are not working, and I can't remember them. Additionally, I've experienced a hack on my account in the past, which adds to my concerns. I also own a PS Vita that I cannot access. I really need a complete password and security reset. After updating my Sony TV, hours later, it's stuck on a black screen showing "Sony". I've tried unplugging it, waiting, and then reconnecting, but the issue persists. When I use the remote, the sensor light blinks when attempting to power it off, but it remains unresponsive. I resorted to manually turning it off using the side panel, but it immediately turns back on. Now, I can't even power it off manually. I've also attempted holding the power button for 5 seconds with no success.

I have purchased multiple 5TB Seagate portable drives to use with my Sony XboxS gaming console. I use them to store non-gaming content. I have noticed that the Xbox can only read up to the first 2TB of data on the drive. Any data added beyond that limit cannot be accessed by the Xbox. However, my computer can read all the data stored on the drive, so I believe the issue lies with the compatibility between the Xbox and the drive. I recently changed my password, but I can't receive the 2-step verification code because I have a new phone number. I am unable to turn off this option as it requires the code for signing in, and I am not connected to any other devices. I have bought a new P5 and have valuable content on my account that I can't afford to lose. I have spent a significant amount of money on this account over the past 10 plus years. I have been trying to contact support, but the calls keep getting disconnected. I just need some assistance with this issue.

Good evening, My name is Alessio. I have been trying to contact you for the past 5 to 6 months but have not been successful. My PS4 was permanently banned in April or May. I was playing RAINBOW SIX SIEGE and due to my exceptional gameplay, I achieved three consecutive victories, leading to other players accusing me of using hacks. My grandson received a $50 Sony PlayStation card as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately, the first few numbers of the code are unreadable because of heavy scratching. I recently received an email stating that my Gmail account was compromised by someone in Saudi Arabia. I promptly blocked them from my email, but they managed to access my Sony account using the old password. I live in Baldwin, NY, and my name is Justin Gransaull. The hacker changed the email tied to my Sony account, preventing me from accessing it and added a two-step authenticator. I have since secured all linked cards. I am eager to recover my account and would appreciate guidance on the necessary steps to regain access. My Sony DVD/VHS player is having trouble playing certain new DVDs on my TV that work fine on my PC. Strangely, the DVD/VHS player can play some new DVDs, but not others. They are all current, commercially produced movies. Whenever I try to play the DVDs that don't work, it shows error messages like "Cannot read this disk" and "Check the disk." I have ensured that all the discs are new and clean, and have even cleaned them again, but the issue persists. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

My name is James Marks and I am 81 years old. I have been playing PS3 for years and decided to buy a used PS4. However, I've been facing issues trying to sign in with Sony. Dear PlayStation, I recently received an email informing me of my account's suspension on the PlayStation network. However, I was away from home for the entire week in question. After contacting home, I discovered that my 12-year-old cousin had been the one using my PS4 and ultimately caused the ban. I apologize for his behavior, but it seems unjust that I am facing the consequences for his actions. I have been a loyal PlayStation Plus subscriber since my PS3 days, consistently making payments without fail. Considering upgrading to a PS5 this year, but if this unfair ban stands, I may have to reconsider and opt for an Xbox Series X instead. The financial strain of the pandemic has made saving for the PS5 a challenge, so it's disheartening to be treated like this by your company. I have always been satisfied with the Sony products I've purchased over the years, from amplifiers to receivers and tape decks. When I discovered Sony was making cell phones, I decided to give it a try. The Xperia L2 impressed me with its compatibility with Microsoft products and app support for work. Unfortunately, it unexpectedly stopped working within a year. I then got the L1, which faced a similar issue after 7 months, causing data loss and inconvenience. I used the chat support on PlayStation's website for Account Management & Game Support. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I connected with a representative who unfortunately seemed clueless. After an hour and 40 minutes, the chat abruptly ended with no resolution. I tried to access the support again but kept receiving a message saying to try back tomorrow. Frustrated, I was advised by my ISP to run a trace route to address the issue of Sony banning IPs relied upon by groups of people. Now, I'm trying to reach out again and will request to speak with a supervisor immediately. I appreciate any assistance provided.
