I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 for free some time ago and run it on my Mac using Parallels Desktop. After a recent update to Mac OS Catalina, my C drive got deleted. I created a new C drive with Windows 10, but now I am missing the activation key. I attempted to use the Windows 7 key, but it did not work as Windows 7 could not be found on the drive. It seems the free update to Windows 10 is no longer accessible. When trying to retrieve the Windows 10 key from my Microsoft account, I realized my account is linked to an old email address I no longer have access to. I created a new account with a new email address but am unable to link it to my original account. I am currently stuck and seeking assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you, Henry M. Seattle, WA

I've been attempting to reset my password on my live account. Unfortunately, I keep receiving an error message stating that I have exceeded the code request limit for today. The issue persists even though it is a new day. I have tried using both my email address and phone number without success. I have made multiple attempts to contact support but have not been able to speak with a live person. Consequently, I am unable to access my Microsoft account and have resorted to using a local account on my computer. I am in need of assistance with this matter. Thank you.

While attempting to clean install Windows 10, I keep encountering various error messages like IRQL not less than or equal, page loading errors, Kernel security warnings, and more. This has been ongoing for three days, and I've tried all troubleshooting steps I know. At one point, the system was running but crashed and failed to enter the recovery drive. The constant appearance of different errors has left me bewildered. I have experience with Microsoft builds dating back to Windows 3X, so these frequent errors are puzzling. My setup includes an MSI B550M Pro VDH WiFi motherboard, Seagate Barracuda 4TB HDD, and an AMD Ryzen 5 gen 2. I have disconnected all other devices in hopes of achieving a clean install without complications, aiming to enjoy my X Box X-Pass once everything is up and running properly.

In July [redacted], while working on my computer, a loud siren-like noise signaled an infection, prompting me to contact Microsoft support at 1-[redacted]. John Floyd assisted by remotely accessing my computer, resolving the issue over a few hours. I paid $[redacted] for the service and signed up for 4 years of Security and Support. Subsequent attempts to reach Mr. Floyd at the given number have been unsuccessful. Details provided: John Floyd 1-[redacted] ext. I am having trouble connecting my PC and laptop to share files. My desktop is connected to Ethernet and 5G wifi networks, while my laptop is only on the 5G wifi network. I have adjusted the sharing settings for Private, Public, and All on both devices. The desktop network category is Public, and the laptop network category is Private. I attempted to change the desktop network category to Private using Powershell, but encountered an error due to group policy settings preventing the change. I have tried multiple solutions found online with no success. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Paul.

I am trying to recover my account [redacted], which is linked to [redacted] I have the password for [redacted], but there seems to be suspicious activity, and it's asking me to confirm through the linked email, [redacted], which I cannot access. I have tried the recovery form without success. I have important emails from authorities sent to my [redacted] account that I urgently need access to. I am willing to provide my passport for verification purposes to prove my identity for the court-related emails.

For the past three weeks, I've been attempting to verify and secure my email account, which is linked to everything I use. Every time I try to log in, it prompts me to fill out a form to secure my account, claiming I need to answer questions about emails I've sent and received. However, I haven't been able to access my account for three weeks, so I can't provide that information. Despite filling out the form multiple times, the only advice I received from a live agent was to keep trying. I've exhausted all options, including trying to call for assistance, but everything seems to be online. I strongly suspect my account has been hacked and urgently need help to secure it. I can still access the settings on my phone, which should validate my identity if only I could speak with someone directly.

I have been continuously receiving notifications regarding issues with my MS account. Even after entering my password, which has been the same for months, it suddenly stopped working. Although I previously resolved the notification, it keeps reappearing, leading to the shutdown of my account. I have provided various reviews with old passwords and relevant information to resolve this, including the password I consistently use. It seems the password being referred to is not the same as the one for my computer login. I urgently need my email account to be reinstated. I find this situation concerning as it might lead to the misuse of my personal information. I have double-checked the accuracy of my password and the information provided. Waiting another 24 hours for a response on the same information is unacceptable. Please resolve this matter promptly as I rely on access to my emails. Thank you, M. Spigelman

To Whom It May Concern, I recently purchased Skype, and upon signing up, realized that there seems to be some confusion from when I first registered years ago but never used it. After briefly enjoying the service for just over a week, I encountered an issue when asked to sign in to Microsoft on my phone. My Hotmail (Microsoft) account dates back to [redacted], which a friend set up for me in Seattle. Unfortunately, as I was not very tech-savvy at the time, the information entered, including my password, might not align correctly. I didn't know that the passwords for Hotmail and Skype were linked, resulting in me being locked out. Following multiple attempts at answering security questions and not receiving any responses, I am seeking assistance to regain access to my Hotmail account and recover my Skype phone number, which seems to have been dropped. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Cathleen A. M.

My Microsoft account registered under [redacted] has been hacked by someone using the email address as*****@mailnesia.com. They have changed my password and set up two-factor authentication, preventing me from using any online recovery tools. I neglected to set up two-factor authentication myself, but I have since learned my lesson. The hack has affected my Microsoft Office Outlook account, my games for which I am a Premium user, and access to the Microsoft Store. I have removed the associated card and have not been able to contact anyone for assistance through the provided phone numbers. I am looking for a way to speak with someone directly to resolve this issue without having to pay for additional help. Flora C. [redacted]

Yesterday morning, I attempted to download an app on my HP PC. However, I encountered an issue with my passcode. When I initially set up my PC, I meticulously recorded all my accounts and passwords. After receiving an error message stating there was an authentication problem on the provider's side, I created a new Microsoft account. Despite this, I continue to face difficulties with verification, and my PC remains in safe mode. Regrettably, I am unable to download any applications. I am uncertain of the optimal solution to address this predicament.

I am experiencing difficulty with my computer as it is stuck in safe mode. An authentication issue is persisting, indicating that the problem lies on the service provider's end. Despite creating a new Microsoft account, the error message remains unchanged. I have been attempting to resolve this since 6:00 AM yesterday. Consequently, I am now on a lengthy hold waiting for assistance. Considering the ongoing struggle with authentication, I am contemplating resetting my PC entirely to start afresh. I am curious if this process of wiping everything and beginning anew will be as straightforward as it was during the initial setup.

Last night, I encountered an issue with my Outlook email account. While trying to receive emails, it suddenly stopped and displayed an error message. Subsequently, a box requesting the server, my name, and password appeared. Following this, I received the email error code 0x800CCC92. Despite checking with ATT&T and confirming that everything is functioning correctly on their end, the problem persists. My Outlook emails are inaccessible on both my computer and iPhone, and switching to "online" mode does not resolve the situation. I will provide my email address, although I am unsure if you will be able to reach me through it.

I recently received an email informing me of a security issue with my Microsoft Account, advising me to change my password. However, when I attempted to do so, I was unable to proceed as the system claimed the password I entered was incorrect, prompting me to initiate a recovery process. The email address provided in the notification was unfamiliar to me (@mailnesia.com), and the phone number listed (08) is a landline that does not support text messages due to its age (over 50 years). After two unsuccessful attempts to resolve the issue using online forms, I believe I may require assistance from a customer service representative to resolve this matter.

Hello, I recently canceled my Microsoft [redacted] Personal subscription due to compatibility issues with my old laptop. I received a refund for $75.85 and purchased a new Samsung laptop from Best Buy on Nov 25th. I bought the Microsoft [redacted] Personal subscription at a discounted price of $49.99 plus tax. Best Buy emailed the digital subscription to my yahoo email address, but I am unable to download the software onto my new laptop as I did not receive a product key since I bought it online. I am aware that the Microsoft [redacted] Personal subscription is linked to my email address and not the laptop. I have scheduled Geek Squad to help set up my new laptop on Dec 11th since I am not familiar with all the features. I am hoping that the Geek Squad technician will be able to assist me in downloading the digital Microsoft [redacted] onto my new laptop. Best regards, Charlotte A. Dobosenski

My internet connection through a phone landline is very slow, with speeds of 4-6 Mbps download and 0.4 Mbps upload. I noticed that when using Excel, the program prompts to correct to a newer version, potentially sending my work to the cloud. This causes issues when opening files, with delays or multiple copies appearing on my screen. To avoid this, I save all my work on my PC and refrain from using the cloud. I back up my data using a Seagate digital hard drive plugin. I'd appreciate any assistance with this matter.

My computer froze today, and a Microsoft pop-up appeared stating my network had been compromised, with a provided phone number to call. After contacting "Smart Help 24/7," they claimed to have resolved the issue and connected me with another company offering various security services for $3,[redacted]. The agreement came from Cent PSP in Beirut, while they claimed to be located in West Hollywood, CA. I am unsure if this was a scam and considering contacting my credit card company. Can anyone advise if this is legitimate or not? Any help is appreciated.

I have attempted to contact five different numbers and keep receiving a message saying "Microsoft has moved online." I am trying to reach a live person. I have my own Microsoft [redacted] account, but all my documents are in my husband's account ([redacted]) which I created before setting up mine. I need guidance on how to transfer the documents to my account. I have four PDF files that I need to transfer to someone for reformatting, but emailing them didn't work. Also, linking Outlook to my Android cellphone failed. I am seeking assistance to resolve these issues. Previously, I called for support (Case #: [redacted]) and a technician remotely accessed my computer to help, but I may have shut it down before the updates were completed. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Microsoft [redacted] prompted me to renew my subscription for $[redacted], which was unexpected. I'm unsure if this is a new revenue strategy or if I made an error by proceeding based on the notification from my Word application. In addition, there is a peculiar and intrusive pop-up on my laptop that has resulted in disruptive activity, potentially from malicious software. This issue seemingly arose after a recent software update that introduced Microsoft Edge, which I cannot uninstall. I can provide screenshots to illustrate the problem for further clarity.

I am having trouble accessing my Hotmail account. It was blocked for safety reasons due to my children accessing it. Since I have a new phone number, I can't unblock it online until 4/01/21. Waiting a month without access is not feasible as I need it for work. Please provide guidance on how to unblock my account promptly. Thank you.Email: [redacted]
