Have been waiting MONTHS for letter to reset questions so I can apply for medicare on line. I have requested the letter * times. I called * weeks ago and they said they sent the letter Aug **, and It should arrive in a couple days. It has now been * MORE weeks and still no letter. This is the difference between paying $****month and $****month with Medicare. I am blessed with good health but do NOT have a job so this is a huge difference in cost. My **th birthday was yesterday.This has been such a long agonizing * month process and still no letter. Now I am terrified I will not get the letter to apply for Medicare until the * months after my birthday have passed and I will forever be paying a higher premium than if I had gotten the letter in July when it was first requested. I don't understand why if I give all the pertinent info on the phone to prove wh i am (which I did) why I wasn't given the website to change my questions when I talked to Social Security on the phone August **, ****. Thank you.
