I purchased a JBL Flip 4 a week ago. Yesterday, it accidentally fell about a meter to the ground, landing horizontally and not bouncing much. While using the Connect mode with my friend’s identical Flip 4 to listen to music louder, mine started producing strange sounds like a membrane distortion, particularly in intense music moments, unlike my friend’s speaker. Later on, back at home, my JBL began to intermittently pause every 5-10 minutes for about 1 second. Eventually, after an extended period of use ranging from 10 minutes to an hour, the speaker would stop playing music when connected to my device. I am unsure if I should return it to the store for an exchange or if they will send it to JBL for repairs considering the accidental drop. Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

I purchased a JBL Flip 4 seven days ago. Yesterday, it accidentally fell horizontally from a one-meter height. Later, while using the Connect feature with my friend's identical speaker, mine started making strange sounds like a membrane vibrating during loud music. Unlike my friend's, my speaker began to fail after five hours with intermittent breaks in sound. Eventually, it completely stops working after 10 minutes to an hour of use. I am unsure if I can exchange it at the store or if they will assist in sending it to JBL for repairs. I am seeking advice on what steps to take next. Thank you.

The Proscan test strip has not been working properly for several days. When I open it, the "my analysis" box appears grayed out. When I click on it, it asks for my username and password. Even though I enter the correct information as saved, it says, "Error, the data entered is invalid." I have tried changing my username and password, uninstalling the application, and reinstalling it, but it still shows the error. I don't know what else to do. I would like the issue to be resolved, maybe by deleting my profile data and starting over or by providing me with my original username and password or some other solution. Hoping the problem will be resolved soon. Best regards, JP

I am experiencing a lack of sound from my JBL Playlist when connected to my computers and laptops via Bluetooth. I have performed tests on multiple devices and with various speakers, all working except for the JBL Playlist. Despite the pairing sound indicating a successful connection, there is no sound output when playing videos on YouTube in Chrome. I have confirmed the correct output and ensured the speakers are not muted. Given these repeated issues across different laptops and computers, it raises concerns about the compatibility of the JBL Playlist [redacted] with laptops as advertised. It might be helpful to expand the sample size for testing to further validate this issue. I am curious if you could conduct tests on laptops running Windows 10 to replicate the scenario of playing videos in Chrome via Bluetooth.

I encountered an issue with my JBL Flip 4 speaker. After contacting the company, they informed me that I could receive a replacement speaker. I sent it out on November 11th. Despite receiving varied responses, they stated I would get it. However, four business days later, I am still waiting. In some emails, they mentioned the Flip 4 being out of stock, which I don't mind as long as I receive my speaker. Attempts to reach them by phone have been unsuccessful as I've waited on hold for over 45 minutes multiple times without any response. Assistance would be appreciated.

I recently purchased the JBL Quantum [redacted] Game Headset to use for dictation, as I needed headphones with a microphone. As the headset only has one 3.5mm jack, I got an adaptor with two separate 3.5mm jacks for sound and microphone. Although I can see the Microphone listed in the Device Manager, when I attempt dictation in Microsoft Word, it doesn't pick up any sound. The mute button on the headphones is off. I can provide the Registry Kernel information for the microphone if needed.

Hello, I am Ayse S. and I am starting university this year. On 22.07.[redacted], I purchased the JBL T500BT headphones from the well-known technology company in Turkey, Teknosa. The headphones came with a 2-year warranty. Recently, I encountered an issue with my headset, initially believed to be a simple cable problem. Upon inspection by the authorized service center, they determined the product was irreparable and offered me a refund of [redacted]₺, the price at which I purchased the headphones. A similar headset now costs [redacted]₺, indicating a considerable loss. I believe Teknosa's representation of the JBL brand is inadequate and is resulting in customer dissatisfaction. I hope this matter can be addressed to improve customer satisfaction.

Hello Technician, I am Renato. I recently purchased a JBL Stage A9004 car amplifier and connected it as follows: I used the high signal level white connectors for audio input from the rear car speakers, and connected two subwoofers with low pass filter to the L-R outputs and two Ciare tweeters with high pass filter to the other outputs. Despite setting the Gain pot to minimum, the tweeters sound too loud without distortion. I modified the TL084C by adding 140kohm resistors between R28C and pin 3, and R18D and pin 10 to decrease volume output, however, I still face the issue. I seek your advice on whether this modification is appropriate, if replacing the 140kohm resistors with 200kohm resistors could further reduce the signal, or if reducing the signal level to pins 6-5 and 9-10 of the TL084C would be more effective. Your assistance in clarifying these concerns would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Renato

I heard rumors about an upcoming Xtreme 4 model. I am curious about the design choices, especially the speaker system. Xtreme 3 had dual 2.75" drivers for mids and lows. For Xtreme 4, I suggest a 2.1ch unit with a single 3" or 3.5" subwoofer for the mids and lows, along with a 20mm or 40mm tweeter for highs. This configuration could make Xtreme 4 3-4 times more powerful than Xtreme 3, while slightly increasing the body size to allow the subwoofer to perform optimally.
