I made a reservation yesterday with the Hotwire reference number [redacted]. I believed I booked for tonight, Tuesday, December 29, [redacted], until Wednesday, December 30, [redacted]. However, I later realized the reservation was for the previous night due to a possible system error. When I contacted the hotel, they confirmed they had no record of my reservation for either night. I am in a situation where I paid for a service I did not use or intend to use that night. I am requesting a refund, a transfer of the reservation to tonight, or an immediate reimbursement for the purchase. The circumstances surrounding this issue are unusual, as I never benefited from the service I paid for, and the hotel did not have any record of my reservation. I hope to resolve this matter promptly, either through a refund or credit for future use with Hotwire. Thank you for your assistance.

I am trying to make a new car rental booking using HotDollars as payment, but I don't have an itinerary number to retrieve the HotDollars. I found a deal I want to secure with them, but the secure payment section requires a credit card number, and I don't want to get charged again. I earned these HotDollars due to the cancellation of itinerary #[redacted] in [redacted] because of the Covid-19 travel ban. How can I use my HotDollars without entering a new credit card number as the last line on the booking page mentions it cannot be reversed or canceled once clicked?

I used their service in [redacted]. In early August, my internet at home stopped working. I contacted customer service for assistance but the issue was never resolved. I reached out around 30 times in the following month, and each time, they promised to fix it promptly but to no avail. Frustrated, I switched to Verizon in September. However, in October, I discovered they had continued charging me for August and September when I didn't have any internet service. Despite contacting them, they assured me they would clear the balance. Yet, I was surprised to receive a call this week from a collection agency about an outstanding balance with Hotwire. I contacted them several times this week, but the response was the same unhelpful "we have submitted a request" message. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

I was disappointed to arrive at 3:00pm and learn that there were no available rooms, which was not indicated on your website. I made a booking for a friend visiting town, but the reservation has my name instead of his. I tried contacting Hotwire to fix it. The first call was on a Sunday night around 10 pm, and after being on hold for two hours, the call got disconnected. I called again around midnight, but after waiting until 1:45 am, I had to give up. The total hold time was almost four hours. The next morning at 9 am, I tried again and waited for nearly three hours before speaking with a customer specialist. This level of service from Hotwire is unacceptable. I am very disappointed and frustrated with the experience.

I booked a flight from Boston to Augusta, GA, departing on June 23 and returning on July 6. Unfortunately, I mistakenly selected the return flight for June 24 instead of July 6. I have been on hold for over two and a half hours trying to reach customer service to correct this error with American Airlines, but have had no success. My itinerary number is #[redacted][redacted].

After a long day of flying and struggling to find accommodation, I came across Hotwire which offered me a great deal near Denver. I took a train to Aurora for $11 and then had to take a Lyft for $25 to reach the hotel. However, upon arrival, I realized I couldn't stay at the hotel, and now I'm out $99. I urgently need a place to rest for the night as I ended up sleeping outside and hardly got any sleep. I'm extremely tired and frustrated. I would like a refund for the money I spent.

I encountered an issue with my reservation and was informed that I would receive a refund in hot dollars instead of being able to refund it to my card. I was assured the hot dollars could be used for a new reservation immediately. However, upon booking a new reservation, the hot dollars were not applied, and the full payment was taken from my card. Despite contacting customer service to rectify this and requesting the $[redacted].54 refund back to my card due to the hot dollars not being applied, they declined to assist. I have already lost $20 on the initial reservation and ended up paying $[redacted].60 for the second reservation instead of the expected $20.60. I made a car rental reservation through Hotwire that got canceled due to covid-19. Sixt issued a voucher for future use, but now they are not honoring it. I am reaching out to Hotwire for help since I booked through them. On 8/5, I'm disappointed with the response I received regarding my recent reservation issue. I was informed that if I had reached out earlier, they could have assisted, but now they can't help. My room reservation was not honored, and I'm seeking a refund of $82.28. On 8/6, after making 14 phone calls, I still haven't received any resolution. Hotwire claims it's too late to assist me now. The incident occurred on Saturday night, and I only returned home on Wednesday. I called on Thursday, and they blame me for the delay. I find this response unsatisfactory, and I'm continuing to address this issue.

I made a hotel reservation through Hotwire online, as it was highly visible across different sites. However, I was surprised to find a charge of $[redacted].76 on September 6th through Hotwire. When I inquired, I was informed the charge goes directly to the hotel. Despite expressing my disappointment with the poor condition of the room — not worth the $[redacted].60 I paid, let alone the total of $[redacted].36 — I received no satisfactory response from customer service. Further aggravating my experience, on September 8th, I was charged another $[redacted].60 by Days Inn Tannersville, along with an additional $[redacted].00 for incidentals on the same day. The lack of transparency, confusion, and inadequate customer service have left me deeply dissatisfied. I demand the immediate refund of $[redacted].76, as the service representative failed to explain the charge correctly. My unpleasant stay has made me reconsider booking through Hotwire in the future due to misleading listings and poor customer service at the Days Inn Tannersville.

I recently contacted hotwire.com regarding a hotel room booking issue from August 30th. I interacted with multiple representatives, with James being the first one. I expected a Motel 6 or Kings and motor type of accommodation but was given a room at Roadway Inn instead, a place with concerning activities. James refunded the money and offered Hot Dollars for a quicker refund process. However, he didn’t explain the Hot Dollars usage clearly. In subsequent calls, I spoke with another representative who guided me through setting up an account online and using the Hot Dollars. Despite this, I haven't been able to use the Hot Dollars successfully. Each time I try to use them online, I face difficulties transferring them to the checkout page. I have sought assistance from two different representatives who provided conflicting advice, leaving me frustrated and unable to utilize my money effectively. This experience has soured my opinion of hotwire.com, despite appreciating their competitive prices.

Hotwire Fision was recently installed in our condo this past Friday. However, I am now facing an issue with accessing Netflix, which was not a problem with my previous provider, Xfinity. Upon contacting customer service, I was informed that I am the first person to report this issue. The representative suggested sending a technician to our condo to investigate further. I find it hard to believe that there isn't a simpler solution to access Netflix with Hotwire Fision. Can anyone confirm if there is a way to resolve this without a technician visit?

They strongly advised me against staying at Americas Best Value Inn due to safety concerns in the area. In June, we bought three tickets for my husband, child, and me with the option to change reservations due to Covid. On 12/19, I called and got transferred four times over a frustrating 5-hour period just to change my reservation. Eventually, I found new dates at a cheaper price online, but when I called to modify, the airline only offered me a higher internal rate and not the advertised price. I was disappointed because I wanted the lower price shown on their website. Despite being willing to take a credit instead of a refund, they still did not honor the lower fare. I felt the process was unfair and wished they had been more transparent about pricing from the beginning.

I need assistance with changing my reservation due to being unable to travel on January 4 because of testing positive for COVID-19. After contacting Avianca, they issued a case number [redacted] for exemption. The case has been resolved, and I received an email approving the waiver WVnov21-[redacted] for COVID-19. Now, I am trying to book a new flight to Buenos Aires for Saturday, 01/15/[redacted]. Avianca suggests I contact Hotwire, who claims the change must be made through them as they have authority with the IATA code. Hotwire should refer to the email from Avianca for authorization to make the new booking. If there are any doubts, they can reach out to the agency support for clarification.

I'm Christie Wells, and I noticed an overcharge of $[redacted].30 on my American Express Serve card after booking a room at Ramada Inn in West Memphis, AR. I called to resolve this and spoke with Risk Management. There were 3 charges, one correct and two errors from my bank. Serve advised me to have you email them for a reversal to refund my account.
