DHL did sent me a message saying my parcel was delivered but it was no where to be seen. Not note was left to say where it was delivered to as i only just missed them as i came down the stairs. I thought it might be over my fence in the back garden as this is where i told them to deliver it. They apparently did not receive that message as you are meant to do this ** hours before it is delivered (don't understand why this service exists ** hours prior to delivery if they can not access the information). Any way i called them and they could not locate is as they too said it was delivered. They eventually contacted the driver while i was on hold and then i was told it was at number two on my street. I went to look for this and the women at number to explained she had no parcel for me i was even more confused. I rang them back and they out me on hold (after some time of insisting number two have it) and rang the driver again and only when he described the house i realised it was number *. I asked the dhl caller contact why no note was left as this is why i was very confused and had to call in. The dhl contact had no empathy for me as a customer and simply said they must have run out (when i was the first drop of early morning that was hard to believe). Worst of all i later found that it was not a neighbour that took my parcel but i workmen that was working on the house (someone who i never even knew). I eventually got my parcel after three phone calls as the caller asked me to call back a couple of times. I have just received my phone bill for almost £** for the three phone calls that probably total up to a ** min call. I do not believe it os fair for me to receive this charge for simpling trying to locate my parcel as no communication was left on where it was other than a message to say it had been delivered. Followed by a dhl contact who simply repeated it had been delivered add then gave me the wrong address to where it had been delivered! I will never online shop with the place that my parcel was from as the service was appalling. Please advise on what i can do to not be left out of pocket for incompetencies of dhl driver not following protocol and an unhelpful dhl contact who kept asking me to call back after sending me on a wild goose chase.**Kind regards**Dr Hussein

I had to keep calling as they could not relocate my parcel. Three phone calls later i was able to locate my parcel myself from the drivers description of the house. They left no note to so where my parcel was and the contact repeated what my message (that caused panic said* parcel delivered - even though i could not find it anywhere). The three phone calls that lasted a told of ** mins total cost me £**. Extremely disappointed with the customer service received and the fact that it left me out of pocket!
