I had a balance of -$3 in my Bank of America student savings account when I received a $35 fee for going negative. Later, I got another fee, and now my account is about -$77. I don't have the funds to cover this, but I need to use my card. I'm wondering if the fees could be waived if I deposit money. It's my first time experiencing this issue, and I believe the bank should offer me a chance to resolve my account.

I made a payment yesterday and unintentionally got enrolled in ebilling, but I prefer receiving my statements by mail. Despite calling six times, I have not received the assistance I need to resolve this issue. The recorded message stating they cannot take my call due to extenuating circumstances is frustrating. I am considering canceling all my Bank of America cards due to this poor customer service experience.

I have been a victim of an internet scam and I am seeking assistance to recover the funds ($[redacted],[redacted] USD) I lost. The scam involved transferring money to Bank of America (BOA) under false pretenses. Initially, I was contacted by someone posing as a lawyer from Liberia, claiming I was entitled to inheritance funds from Arcelomittal Liberia Limited. The United Bank for Africa (UBA) was involved in facilitating the transfer to pay a business account payable to the supposed relative of the late Mr. Kuo. I was directed to open accounts online, leading me to transfer the money to Allied Credit Bank (UK) for international transactions. Subsequently, I was asked to cover various expenses such as tax clearance, currency differences, and fees, totaling seven requests. This led to transferring the funds to two accounts at BOA in Atlanta, GA between April 20 and May 10, [redacted]. Realizing the fraud, I reported the incident to the authorities in Taiwan, involving the police and the Criminal Investigation Bureau, who have informed the FBI in the USA. I have also sought assistance from my local bank, which advised submitting a “Hold Harmless Letter” to BOA, awaiting a response. I am hoping for guidance on the next steps to potentially recover my lost funds. I can be contacted at [redacted] or +[redacted]57 for any necessary details regarding this matter. Thank you.

I was advised to start the modification process while waiting for the quit claim deed. I have already sent the pre-trial judge's ruling that EX is fully responsible for repayment. I have two options, either getting the quit claim deed to remove him and refinance or refinancing with him. I was instructed not to interrupt the modification process and to continue making payments as directed. I have never missed an interest payment and have sometimes paid double. While looking to refinance, I discovered negative reporting. I am completely disabled and rely on 24-hour oxygen. I find it difficult to keep repeating myself to them due to my health condition. I am seeking advice and I am willing to pay $20 for assistance.

I am having trouble accessing online banking as I forgot my login code. I tried "Pussycat69" and then "Kingcobra69" but neither worked. I need to reset both codes to deposit the checks I received for work I am doing to help a painter in Austin. There are concerns about the checks being fraudulent, but after looking up information, everything seemed legitimate except for one remaining check. I am frustrated by a front desk clerk implying the check was fraudulent without verifying. This situation is upsetting since they have my money.

Bank of America froze my debit card either before or after I tried to withdraw money from an ATM before leaving for vacation abroad. I contacted them, the reversal was visible immediately. However, two days later, my account was overdrawn, and the reversal disappeared from my online statement. When I attempted to transfer money from another account, the bank placed a hold on all my funds. Being overseas with no access to my money is causing significant issues. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

My mother, Lucy E., left me a house at [redacted] Will Scarlet Drive, Titusville, Florida when she passed away. There is a lien on the property from Nations Bank, which is preventing me from accessing the LOC until it is resolved. I was informed by your phone representatives that this lien should have been removed when Nations Bank transitioned to B of A. We have submitted a title search as requested by your mortgage servicing department and are currently awaiting a response.

I recently deposited a $10,[redacted] check through mobile banking since my nearest Bank of America branch is quite far away. However, Bank of America placed a 10-day hold on the check. This particular check has been a regular monthly occurrence since June [redacted], and up until recently, Bank of America has always cashed it without any issues. The check even states, "please post for our mutual customer." Despite my repeated efforts explaining my situation, Bank of America is maintaining the 10-day hold. In the past, calling their North Carolina office has helped in releasing the funds, but this time, it seems like I am stuck with the hold. I even offered to have the check's issuer contact the bank to verify the funds, but that was not accepted. My family relies on these funds for essentials like food and rent. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Customer Service, I am writing to address a recent issue with my credit card account ***[redacted]. I was unaware that my old card had been closed by the bank for security reasons, and despite being assured that no charges would go through on the old card, eBay still managed to use the old card number to charge me. Furthermore, I never received any statements from the credit card company regarding outstanding bills until I visited a bank branch on 5/8/[redacted]. Upon contacting customer service, I spoke with Manaya Kim who was helpful in addressing the charges from eBay but was unable to find my travel rewards. Her manager, Sanfrese Cassidy, refused to return my rewards or void the interest fee. I am disappointed by this experience and request that all late fees and interest charges be voided, and my travel reward money returned to my savings account before closing the credit account. Thank you, BW

I am seeking assistance from Bank of America regarding a scam incident that occurred on April 24, [redacted]. I mistakenly wired a large sum of money to Sun Trust Bank in GA after receiving fraudulent emails appearing to be from my boss, Steven Handelman. Upon realizing it was a scam, I immediately contacted Bank of America to stop the transaction, but it was too late. Fortunately, the account number at Sun Trust Bank was incorrect, so the funds were not received. I have been attempting to recover the funds from SunTrust since then. I want to acknowledge the help I received from Allan Birondo, Financial Center Manager at La Jolla Plaza in San Diego, CA, for his prompt assistance. Despite facing long wait times with other departments, Allan was always available to answer my calls. I have also received support from another bank manager who contacted SunTrust on my behalf. Both Bank of America and SunTrust have been notified of the fraud, along with the FBI and Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. As of today, my boss, Steven Handelman, holds twelve accounts with Bank of America, and the affected account is San Diego Property Management L.P. It has been nearly four weeks, and I am feeling desperate, overlooked, unwell, upset, and overall frustrated. I am in urgent need of help.

Hello, I submitted a fraud claim on Tuesday, the 22nd. Initially, I was told the money would be back in my account within 72 hours. However, when I followed up this morning, I was informed it could take 7-10 days. This delay is causing me financial strain as I have bills to settle. After speaking with a representative, the timeline was reduced to 2-3 days, but due to the holiday, it might only reflect in my account by Tuesday or Wednesday. I urgently require the funds back in my account today. It's disheartening to be treated this way after being a loyal customer for almost 11 years. I am frustrated by the situation. Can you imagine being in my shoes? I'm desperate for resolution. Could you kindly provide me with the contact details of a manager in the fraud department promptly? Thank you. - L.J.

Dear BOA Customer Service, I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the handling of a fraudulent activity on my debit card. Someone made unauthorized purchases totaling over $1,[redacted] online from Asia. When I reported this on Tuesday the 22nd, Kim from the Dallas office assured me that the funds would be back in my account within 72 hours. Today when I followed up, I was informed that the investigation would take 7-10 days. This is causing me great financial strain as I have immediate bills to pay, and waiting further disrupts my financial commitments. Despite being a loyal customer for close to 11 years, I find the delay and uncertainty unacceptable. The lack of communication about the extended processing time is disappointing, and I feel the company is doubting the validity of my claims. This is not the level of service I expected, especially in such a stressful situation. I have previously encountered fraud issues with my Sprint account and decided not to request a new debit card. It is frustrating to deal with repeated fraudulent activities. I urge you to expedite the resolution to avoid further financial consequences and restore my trust in BOA's security measures. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, K. J.

I am Bing Wei. My credit card, account number [redacted], was closed without my request, and I was not informed. Initially, the bank closed my old card for safety reasons without notifying me. The credit card company assured me no charges could be made on this old card. However, eBay charged me using the old number. Furthermore, I did not receive any statements for this account until I visited the bank on 5/8/[redacted] and discovered one of my accounts was closed. I contacted customer service on 5/17 and was assisted by Manaya Kim, who was helpful in resolving the issues with eBay charges but was unable to address the interest fees and reward points. Despite my request, Sanfrese Cassidy refused to reinstate reward points or waive interest fees, leading to frustration. I am requesting the removal of all late fees, interest fees, the reinstatement of my travel rewards, and the reactivation of my credit account.

Subject: Assistance Needed with PayPal and Bank of America Transaction Issue Hello, I am reaching out regarding an ongoing issue I have been facing involving a transfer of $[redacted] between PayPal and Bank of America. Despite numerous phone calls to both customer service departments over the past five months, I have not been able to resolve the matter. PayPal states that they transferred $[redacted] on November 20th and $[redacted] on December 1st to my Bank of America checking account. However, Bank of America claims that they have not received these funds. My name is Marco S., and I am seeking assistance from both parties to rectify this situation. I have exhausted all efforts to resolve the matter independently but have encountered difficulties. I kindly request your cooperation in working together to resolve this issue promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

After going through a divorce, my ex-husband wouldn't move out of our childhood home despite being granted a $22,[redacted] gift of equity by the judge. To avoid damaging my credit due to his late payments, I was left with the ultimatum of refinancing or selling the house. Despite his past credit card issues placing a lien on the house, there have been no recent late payments in the last 18 months. However, my credit was affected when the insurance did not cover my children's medical bills due to ongoing litigation. Now, I am working towards rebuilding my credit and in need of a loan to purchase my mother's manufactured home in a park as the executor of her estate. My siblings need to move out, but I cannot facilitate this until I secure a loan to buy out my brother and sister.

My identity was stolen, and someone opened a BOA Visa Alaska Airlines credit card on April 23, [redacted], as per my credit report from Experian. I discovered this on May 1 when a credit card addressed to me arrived in the mail. I promptly informed the fraud department, and the card was deactivated the same day. Thankfully, there were no unauthorized charges made on the card, and the $75 origination fee was waived. I have taken necessary steps such as filing a police report for identity theft, notifying the FTC, Experian, Transunion, and Equifax, placing an extended fraud alert and a security freeze on my credit reports. I am seeking information from Bank of America regarding their investigation into this fraudulent activity. Dealing with this situation has been stressful and time-consuming as I work to safeguard my credit. I believe I am entitled to know the outcome of their investigation into this matter.

I have a home equity account that's under bankruptcy protection. Starting in February [redacted], my monthly minimum payment increased from about $[redacted] to nearly $[redacted]. I made a payment of $[redacted] towards the higher amount and noticed a late fee of $37.42 added to my March payment. When I paid the total due, I also saw that the $10 late fee was not reflected. Now, unexpected medical expenses have arisen, and I'm attempting to merge my mortgage and line of credit into one more manageable loan. However, I learned that there must be 12 consecutive mortgage payments for the refinancing to proceed, and the only blemish is the overlooked $37.42 from March. If this cannot be rectified, I might not be able to refinance and could potentially lose my home. Despite being a loyal customer of Bank of America for many years and always paying on time, I find myself facing this challenge. I've been trying to resolve this for a week now but have hit obstacles. My account number is 6[redacted] [redacted]. Please assist me; I implore you.
