Williams Sonoma sells all kinds of things, from furniture to cookware to electrical devices. If you aren't satisfied with something you purchased from Williams Sonoma, you may wonder if you can get a refund. This article will tell you about the Williams Sonoma return policy.
In general, you can return anything you purchased from Williams Sonoma for a full refund as long as you make the return within 30 days. You must bring proof of purchase along with the return. To qualify for a refund, the item must be in like-new condition. You cannot return monogrammed or otherwise personalized items. Final sale items with prices that have a .99, .98, or .97 at the end are not eligible for a refund. Food is also not eligible, and neither are mattresses, gift cards, grills, and certain special order items. You also cannot return items due to normal wear and tear.
Williams Sonoma will issue your refund in the same form you used to make the purchase. If you have a gift receipt as proof of purchase, you will receive your refund in the form of a Williams Sonoma Merchandise Credit Card. If your Merchandise Credit refund is over $10,000, you will receive a $10,000 refund immediately and have the remaining amount mailed to you later.
Williams Sonoma will refund online purchases paid for with gift cards, Merchandise Credit, or other forms of Stored Value Cards in the form of an eMerchandise Card.
If you paid for your purchase with cash or a check and your refund amount exceeds $100, Williams Sonoma will mail a company check to you. This may take up to 14 business days.
The company will refund items purchased from your Williams Sonoma Gift Registry as Merchandise Credit if you make the return within 90 days of your registry event or within 90 days of purchase, whichever is the later date.
Delivery fees are not refundable and returns are not eligible for price adjustments.
You can return most items by bringing them to a Williams Sonoma store. Williams Sonoma outlets do not accept returns, though. You cannot return online purchases of Williams Sonoma Home items to any Williams Sonoma retail store. However, you can return online items by shipping them to Williams Sonoma via UPS. Simply print out a shipping label online and send it in. To return furniture, call Williams Sonoma customer service for instructions.
Williams Sonoma does ship orders internationally, and its return policy for international orders is generally the same as for domestic orders. However, you must make international returns by mail. Items purchased on sale are not eligible for refunds. You also cannot get a refund for oversized items, hazardous materials, items requiring special handling, botanical items, perishable items, aerosols, books, gift cards or items restricted from export or with licensing restrictions. Williams Sonoma will issue your refund in the same currency you used in your purchase, at the same exchange rate, via partner company Borderfree.
