How to Cancel A VRBO Reservation

There are two ways you can cancel your trip with VRBO: online and through the app.

Online Cancellation

To cancel your VRBO reservation through your computer, do the following:

  1. Log into your VRBO account through the browser of choice.
  2. Click on your account name.
  3. Select "My Trips" to see upcoming reservations.
  4. Click on the reservation you want to cancel.
  5. Go to the "Details" tab.
  6. Select "Change or Cancel Trip."
  7. Carefully read the booking's cancellation policy. This will help you prepare for any fees you may owe, or for a reduced refund if the cancellation does not meet the criteria for a full refund.
  8. Click "Cancel Booking" or "Request Cancellation."

Canceling Via the Mobile App

If you are using the VRBO app, you can cancel your trip this way by doing the following:

  1. Open the VRBO app on your phone or tablet.
  2. Log into your VRBO account.
  3. Tap "Trips" to open a list of upcoming trips.
  4. Chose the trip you wish to cancel and tap that reservation.
