To request a change in the location of your visa interview, you need to contact the National Visa Center directly. They handle such requests and can provide guidance on the process.

If your status has changed from a permanent resident to a citizen after you have filed a petition for your son, you will need to inform the National Visa Center (NVC). To inform the NVC of your new status, you should provide them with a copy of your Naturalization Certificate. Once they update your status, your son's visa category may be updated as well, potentially shortening his wait time for a visa. It's important to report any changes in your circumstances to avoid delays or complications in the visa process. Also, please make sure to report this update to the USCIS as well.

If you've forgotten your NVC case number, unfortunately, we are not in a position to retrieve it for you. Please try to look for any documentation or emails associated with your visa application process. Typically, your case number or other important information would have been included there. Keep in mind your case number is extremely important as it's needed for communication with National Visa Center. Keep it stored safely in a place you can easily access.
