Who qualifies for Combat Related Special Compensation?

Asked 6 months ago
Combat Related Special Compensation (CRSC) is a financial benefit provided by the Department of Defense to eligible military retirees who have incurred at least 10% disability as a result of combat-related injuries or disabilities. To qualify for CRSC, individuals must meet certain criteria. Firstly, they must be military retirees with a documented disability rating from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Secondly, they must have at least 20 years of service or be medically retired under specific circumstances. Thirdly, they should be eligible to receive military retirement pay. Additionally, to be eligible for CRSC, individuals must provide evidence of a combat-related injury or disability directly resulting from armed conflict, hazardous duty, or an instrument of war. Meeting these requirements will help determine eligibility for Combat Related Special Compensation.
